Welcome to my website!

My name is Cristina Butaş, freelance translator and reviser since 2001, native speaker of Romanian, currently residing in Romania. I provide translation, localisation, revision and proofreading services to translation companies, SMEs and large companies in Europe, from English into Romanian and from French into Romanian.

Holder of a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology and a BA in French and English, my specialisms are business and financial translations, but I also have experience in IT, marketing and EU-related translations. I am also an active member of the Romanian Translators Association.

My past professional experience as a CFO administrative assistant and HR specialist in an international telecoms company has allowed me to acquire a good knowledge of the business, general financial and human resources concepts and terminology.

I am willing to learn using other translation and/or localisation environment tools if required.
